1. Exploration/Strategy
Define the requirements, scope, timeline, budget, and benchmarks.
The exploration stage is crucial in setting the focus and strategy for the project. During this stage we establish the web site's goals, content and resources, and develop a strategy for successful implementation of the web site.
2. Conceptual Development (Pre-Production)
The concept design and information architecture is developed.
Content is collected. Visual concept development is the process of finalizing the look and feel of your web site. Once a design sample is developed it is uploaded to Sandbox, our testing server, where you can view the design online via our client extranet (throughout the project you will be able to log in the your account on our client extranet and view your progress page). Revisions are made on your request and are subject to good faith.
3. Production
The web site is produced using the agreed design and information architecture.
Production is the implementation phase of the process. This stage involves the optimizing and compiling of content for the individual web pages. Then necessary scripts, such as HTML, ASP, JavaScript, and CGI are incorporated with the content to build the site.
4. Review
Beta testing is carried out and the final web site is reviewed and approved.
After production is complete, the site undergoes an extensive testing phase. The pages are checked systematically on both Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.
5. Web Site Launch
The fully tested web site is launched and training carried out.
On delivery of the site we provide one to one training for any ongoing data entry or simple site maintenance. We make it our personal goal to implement procedures that our clients find simple and are comfortable carrying out. In addition, each client receives site specific, documentation of these procedures for future reference.
After the web site is launched it is submitted to search engines and a full back up CD is delivered to the client.
6. Maintenance
Any ongoing web site maintenance is agreed upon at this stage.
Our relationship with our clients is by no means over when the site goes 'live' and can be as proactive as you need to make your site a success.
